Position Summary

  • This role primarily involves night shifts (7PM-7AM) on weekends, with occasional day shifts (7A-7P).
  • Oversee medication management and administration within the Assisted Living Department, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide health-related guidance and support to residents and their families.
  • Alert healthcare providers and family members regarding any changes in resident health status, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, prioritizing resident safety.
  • Foster effective communication across all departments and staff.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of resident information.
  • Conduct educational sessions for both residents and staff members.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and a supportive demeanor.
  • Possession of a valid Registered Nurse's License in the practicing state.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical nursing environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities safely.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and managing stress in dynamic situations.
  • Maintain a positive and approachable attitude towards residents and colleagues.
