Join Our Team as a Custodial Professional

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Position: Full-time, Evening Shift
Compensation: $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

As a Custodial Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Sweeping, dusting, and mopping floors
  • Vacuuming and extracting carpets
  • Stripping and waxing floors
  • Removing trash and recycling
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms
  • Polishing entryway areas
  • Washing windows and maintaining cleanliness of surfaces
  • Snow and ice removal as needed
  • General cleaning of desks, walls, furniture, and fixtures
  • Other tasks as assigned by the custodial supervisor

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A strong work history
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to follow directions
  • Capability to thrive in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check

Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school diploma preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: Previous experience in cleaning services is advantageous.

Physical and Working Conditions:

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various tasks, including:

  • Reaching, bending, and lifting
  • Exerting force to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Walking and standing for extended periods
  • Working in varying temperatures
