Key Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise in the back room, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor, maintaining a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
- Notify management when products and supplies need to be ordered, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing stockouts.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of all products carried in the departments and be able to locate them in the store, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines, minimizing waste and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to all PPE and safety guidelines.
- Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations, ensuring a safe and healthy shopping environment for customers.
- Adhere to guest experience guidelines, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
