Clinical Dietitian

Aramark is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy assessments and educating residents on therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions to improve outcomes and quality of life.

• Perform medical nutrition therapy assessments on residents to address acute and chronic conditions.
• Educate residents on therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions to improve outcomes and quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary manager, speech language pathologist, physicians, and nurse practitioners to deliver appropriate individualized nutritional therapy.
• Monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis, and wounds.
• Participate in resident review meetings to address high-risk residents.
• Conduct patient nutrition assessments on a population of varying levels of acuity patients.
• Manage the development and implementation plan for nutrition intervention in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.
• Provide nutrition counseling for individuals, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needs.
• Utilize assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.
• Provide appropriate follow-ups in accordance with the patient's treatment goals, referring patients for outpatient counseling, community, or home health services as appropriate.
• Work cooperatively with medical staff as well as food and nutrition services staff to ensure conformance to prescribed nutrition care orders.
• Provide education that ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
• Provide appropriate and timely documentation that summarizes the nutrition care plan in a patient's medical record, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, plan, implementation, and progress towards goals.
• Demonstrate accountability for the proper use of patients' protected health information.

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Pennsylvania state licensure as a Dietitian.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare and MDS process is a plus.
