Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Express Medical Transporters. In this role, you will assist passengers with disabilities or other mobility issues, communicate with drivers and site supervisors, and ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting passengers with loading and unloading, as well as securing wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Ensuring the safety of passengers by helping them with seatbelts and other safety devices.
- Providing information regarding schedules, stops, and routes to passengers as needed.
- Handling special requests and aiding passengers with disabilities or those requiring additional support.
- Monitoring passenger behavior to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $14.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. Additionally, Express Medical Transporters offers a comprehensive benefits package, including weekly pay, 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a clean driving record. Previous experience in customer service or a similar field is highly desirable, as is familiarity with safety and emergency procedures. First aid, AED, and CPR certification is also preferred.
Work Environment
This position requires frequent exposure to all elements of weather, including wind, rain, snow, and high heat and humidity. However, the company prioritizes the health and well-being of its employees and provides regular training and support to ensure their safety and comfort.
