Position Overview

The Travel Nurse RN plays a critical role in delivering exceptional nursing care through the application of advanced nursing skills and methodologies. This position is vital in developing, executing, and assessing individualized patient care plans, while fostering an environment that aligns with our core mission of care, healing, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Staff Nurse, RN serves as the primary caregiver, providing direct patient care and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and patient families, to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Access to confidential patient information is granted, requiring independent decision-making as well as collaborative efforts with healthcare colleagues.
  • This role operates under the direct oversight of the Nurse Manager and indirectly under the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry Units is required.
  • Experience in Emergency Department settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
Unit Specific Information

Flexibility is essential, as the nurse may be required to float to similar units or other facilities based on patient census and needs.
