Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or military equivalent.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or military equivalent.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or military equivalent.
  • National Tech Certification: Verification as required.
  • State License Verification: Primary source online verification is mandatory.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required for applicable nursing professions (RN, LPN/LVN, AP).
Position Overview
  • Staff Needed: 1
  • Unit/Specialty: CT/X-ray (responsibilities include both modalities)
  • Equipment: GE Optima 660 CT, Medrad injector, Merge PACS, Cerner RIS, Konica CR.
  • Responsibilities: The technologist will not be involved in operating rooms or special procedures.
  • Work Schedule: 3-11 shifts include some outpatient X-rays, ER, floor X-rays, and CT scans.
Job Specifications
  • Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
  • Shift Timing: 3 PM to 11 PM.
  • On-Call Requirements: CT call every 5th week.
Additional Information
  • ID Requirements: Government-issued photo ID is mandatory.
  • Health Compliance: A physical exam is required within one year of employment.
  • Health Screening: Negative PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot test results are required within 6 months of employment.
  • Vaccination Policy: Vaccine or facility-specific declination is required during flu season (November to April).
  • Background Check: A 7-year criminal background check is required within one year of employment.
