Speech-Language Pathologist

As a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional therapy services to students in schools. This full-time, school-based position in Sykesville, MD, offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, and providing therapy services to students individually and in group settings. You will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports will be maintained.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
