OB Hospitalist Job Description

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to join our team at Utah Valley Hospital. As an OB Hospitalist, you will provide care for unassigned patients and coordinate follow-up care for those patients. You will also render services to patients who deliver precipitously or have emergency obstetric conditions that require STAT obstetric care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate availability to address urgent or emergent needs on the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Update knowledge and skills to maintain high-quality standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain a positive culture and support growth of the program
Requirements:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN with at least one year of obstetric practice experience beyond residency
  • Formal training in electronic fetal monitoring interpretation
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Utah
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
