Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and conducting medical histories.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization of equipment.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.
  • Candidates without Medical Assistant Certification must obtain it within one year of hire date.

Compensation and Location

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
