Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Inpatient Rehab team at Watervliet Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and physical needs, including CVA, SCI, TBI, amputations, ortho, cardiac, and debility.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles and recognizing the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes.
- Partner with patients and families to identify goals and develop teaching strategies to promote patient education and learning.
- Document education and learning in the health record, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Michigan.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
- At least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role, with successful completion of the NCLEX licensure examination.
