Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management and onsite operation of Power Systems projects nationwide. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Project Management: Develop and implement project schedules, manage resources, and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Site Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of field personnel, manage equipment and materials, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and identify any defects or issues that need to be addressed.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Analyze problems and make informed decisions to resolve issues and ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or technical degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years experience in project management or five years experience in heavy equipment or construction management preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

This role involves extensive travel, up to 80%, to include overnight and up to two-week durations. The job requires working in a professional office environment, as well as outdoors in various weather conditions.
