Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team as a Traveling Sonographer. As a Traveling Sonographer, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics, and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Conduct ultrasound procedures, including scanning and imaging
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and ultrasound results
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists and physicians, to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current ARDMS certification in specialty area (e.g. Abdomen, OB/GYN, Cardiac)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
