Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing assigned projects, ensuring all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the Company's requirements, including safety, quality, management, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge project-related staff.
  • Effectively manage human resource issues and escalate as needed per Company policies and procedures.
  • Complete recommendations for project-related employees' performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and Company goals and objectives.
  • Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
  • Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
  • Review job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including preparation of invoices, customer collections, and periodic financial reporting.
  • Manage related quality and safety issues on customer work.
  • Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
  • Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representatives.
  • Create, develop, and implement account process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Self-motivated, positive approach, professional, and lead others to create, develop, and implement project process improvements.
  • Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations.
  • Proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
  • Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a Company-sponsored American Express Card.

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • RCDD certification preferred.
  • Experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
  • Meet Company minimum driving standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
