Job Title: Perioperative Associate

Kern Medical is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Perioperative Associate to join our team. As a Perioperative Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in the perioperative department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning tasks in patient and non-patient care areas within the perioperative department.
  • Transport patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with patient preparedness activities, such as hair clipping and cast removal.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • 6 months of experience in an acute care facility in a related field.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
