About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team at Corona Regional Medical Center, a 238-bed community hospital network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert drug information and support physicians and nursing staff in delivering optimal drug therapy for patients of all ages.
  • Compound, prepare, mix, manufacture, and dispense medications and preparations with precision and accuracy.
  • Oversee the preparation of medications by pharmacy technicians, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, assume the role of pharmacist in charge, demonstrating leadership and expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a pharmacist or completion of a Health System Residency.
  • Preferred 1-3 years of hospital experience, with a strong understanding of hospital operations and workflows.
  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D.) from an accredited institution.
  • ASHP-accredited residency experience is highly valued.
  • Current California Board of Pharmacy registration as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with the ability to obtain within 30-60 days of hire.
