We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at Sollis Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide expert emergency medical care to our patients in a serene and private environment.
Responsibilities- Perform medical evaluations and formulate treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
- Conduct medical procedures, including obtaining IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, and performing POC testing.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients in various settings, including in-center, virtual, and at-home care.
- Triage patient needs, assess concerns, and determine the right course of action.
- Provide video Telemedicine consults when appropriate.
- Collaborate with a team of Physicians, nurses, and technicians to discuss patient assessments.
- Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including obtaining clinical samples and providing symptom management.
- Document clinical evaluations and treatment in the electronic health record.
- Work closely with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to ensure quality care and adherence to policies.
- Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with Medical Partners.
- Make patients and family members comfortable, answering questions and using patient-centered communication.
- Bachelor's Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program, required.
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license and ability to practice in California State.
- Preferred 2-3 years of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required upon hire.
- Strong clinical skills
- Tech savvy with the ability to use and/or learn our systems.
- Superb technical skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and medication administration.
- Ability to be adaptable and work in a fluid, multitasking environment.
- Strong process and organizational skills.
- The ability to problem-solve and think outside of the box.
- Be comfortable interfacing with high-profile clientele.
The anticipated rate for this position is $85-93 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
