Job Summary:

The Store Associate is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and selling products to customers in a high-volume convenience store outlet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets and interacts with guests in a genuine manner, suggesting products to enhance their experience.
  • Rings up guests on the cash register and balances cash and inventory transactions.
  • Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service, resolving guest complaints and escalating when necessary.
  • Fosters positive relationships with coworkers and guests, communicates respectfully, and maintains a consistent team-oriented attitude.
  • Cleans the store and surrounding areas, including sweeping the parking lot, mopping floors, emptying trash, and cleaning restrooms.
  • Stocks shelves and coolers, takes inventory, and keeps fresh foods stocked and ready-to-eat.
  • Performs regular temperature checks to ensure food is at the appropriate temperature.
  • Assists Store Management in receiving vendor deliveries and maintains fresh and available beverages.
  • Updates prices and posts new signage to reflect monthly promotions and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
