As a Fleet Mechanic Technician Trainee, you will assist experienced technicians in providing safe and reliable vehicles by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs. You will learn to diagnose and repair vehicle issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist experienced technicians in performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles.
- Learn to diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements.
- Develop your skills in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and computer software.
**Requirements**
- No prior experience is required, but a medium/heavy duty truck technical training program or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver's license (CDL preferred) and ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 100 pounds.
