Job Title:
Advanced Practitioner

At ConvenientMD, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the healthcare experience in New England. We're seeking a skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals who share our passion for making a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to clinic effectiveness by identifying patient care issues and recommending solutions.
  • Assesses patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and medical histories.
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
  • Documents patient care services and maintains accurate medical records.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, and wound management.
  • Instructs and counsels patients on therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment and adheres to infection-control policies.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Stays up-to-date with professional knowledge and developments.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree and certification by a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body.
  • A DEA license with no restrictions.
  • BLS certification.
  • Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care.

Expectations:

  • Work collaboratively with other providers and healthcare practitioners.
  • Prepare accurate and complete medical records.
  • Devote additional time to attend to patients, complete paperwork, and perform administrative duties.
  • Develop daily work schedules, vacation time, and on-call schedules with other ConvenientMD-employed practitioners.
  • Represent and promote ConvenientMD's practice in public and professional meetings.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and sit for hours at a time.
  • Manual dexterity for clinical requirements.
  • Lift 50lbs.
