About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiographs, fluoroscopy, and specialty exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients, verify patient ID, and related information to ensure appropriate procedures are performed
  • Explain procedures to patients, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures
  • Properly position patients, calculate and select technical factors, and assess the quality of radiographs
  • Perform specialty procedures, including surgery, C-arm, tomograms, venograms, arthrograms, myelograms, ERCP, sialograms, video speech evaluation, hysterosalpingogram, and other specialty procedures
  • Assist physicians in performing fluoroscopic and minor specialty exams, provide and administer contrast media, position patients, and operate fluoroscopic equipment
  • Identify images with lead markers and patient names, and provide proper radiation protection for patients, self, and others
Requirements
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiology Technology or Advanced Imaging
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Current license in the state of Ohio or Kentucky
  • Current BLS certification
