Job Summary

As a Dietitian at Atlantic Health System, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. You will be responsible for monitoring the AHS's compliance with current applicable Federal, State and local dietary standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides nutrition assessment, documentation and plan of care in an outpatient setting with a focus on metabolic conditions, weight management, and bariatrics.
  • Works closely with the Metabolic Physician to evaluate and treat patients based on their individual needs.
  • Collaborates with other team members to provide patients with the highest standards of care.
  • Reviews appropriate web sites, publications and other educational materials to ensure that the standards of practice are being achieved.
  • Creates and adjusts education materials as deemed necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science or related field.
  • Licensed with the State of New Jersey as a Registered Dietetic Technician or Registered Dietician or Dietary Manager Association or as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science or related field.
  • 2-3 year's experience in outpatient nutrition or relevant area.
