Job Summary:
ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our team of independent contractors. As a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting blood and urine samples for insurance clients, specialty draws, and labeling all specimens accurately. You will also obtain manual physical measurements and document health histories.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and urine samples for insurance clients, specialty draws, and label all specimens accurately, and centrifuge blood.
- Obtain manual physical measurements and document health histories.
- Ship all specimens via FedEx from your residence or authorized FedEx stores.
- Call clients to schedule and confirm their insurance exams, as well as specialty blood draws on a daily basis.
- Have a printer/scanner to print off paperwork and upload all paperwork, as well as an internet computer to put all status notes and scheduled appointments into our portal.
Requirements:
- Must pass a urine drug screen and background check.
- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance, able to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home, with reimbursement for mileage over 35 miles in one trip at $0.65 per mile.
What We Offer:
We offer a flexible schedule, with the ability to choose your own hours and days of work. You will be paid twice a month for completed services, with pay ranging from $24.00 to $45.00 depending on the service. Training is provided, and we will reimburse you for mileage over 35 miles in one trip.
