**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nursing support professional to provide exceptional care to our Residents at The Oaks Senior Living. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulations and uphold the standards of our organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer and supervise medication administration, ensuring accuracy and resident safety.
- Verify Resident identity and medication accuracy, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to protocols.
- Observe Residents' vital signs and response to medications, reporting any concerns to the Wellness Director.
- Assist Residents with social or other issues, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Schedule doctor's appointments and manage medication orders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Respond promptly to resident needs, maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.
- Participate in training and conferences to stay informed of industry changes, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Address concerns from employees, families, and residents, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
**Reports to:** Wellness Director/Horizons Wellness Director
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum one year certificate from an accredited institution.
- LPN license required, with management experience preferred.
**Physical Job Requirements:**
Employee must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods, adhering to proper body mechanics and safety measures. In a typical workday, employee will:
- Stand/walk up to eight hours a day.
- Sit up to two hours a day.
- Frequently support up to 75 pounds.
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently kneel, bend, and reach.
- Secure proper assistance for resident transfers, prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
