Key Responsibilities- Deliver and Unload Products: Safely transport and deliver products to customers, ensuring they are in good condition and meet quality standards.
- Operate Tractor Trailer: Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
- Communicate with Customers and Vendors: Interact with customers and vendors in a professional manner, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the tractor trailer and trailer to ensure they are in good working condition and meet company safety standards.
- Manage Inventory and Documentation: Count and verify products, complete paperwork, and manage inventory to ensure accurate and efficient delivery processes.
- Valid CDL-A License: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) and meet all state licensing and certification requirements.
- Safe Driving Record: Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years and pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Physical Demands: Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
