We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Building Plastics, Inc. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory and shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Perform daily inventory tasks to support inbound and outbound operations, including receiving and processing vendor purchase orders, generating replenishment tasks, and resolving discrepancy issues.
- Warehouse Operations: Monitor and maintain SKUs and locations in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage.
- Order Fulfillment: Process outbound orders and prioritize and process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Receiving and Shipping: Receive and process vendor shipments, separate, label, and stock product received, and resolve receiving issues.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to all safety procedures, and participate in scheduled physical inventories.
- Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of one to three years related experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficient PC skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good basic math, writing, and reading skills, and the ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Certifications and Training: Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment and maintain regular and punctual attendance.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 3am to 11:30am, in a non-climate controlled environment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to the right candidate.
