Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for managing all technical and clinical aspects of nuclear testing, ensuring the safe acquisition, distribution, and disposal of radioactive materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with radiologists to resolve issues related to nuclear image quality
  • Maintain accurate records of the nuclear department to ensure compliance with licensure requirements
  • Establish and maintain nuclear medicine quality control standards
  • Comply with radiation safety program requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved two-year nuclear medicine certification program
  • Florida state licensure and certified radiologic technologist
  • Nuclear medicine technology certification board (NMTCB) and/or American registry radiologic technologists in nuclear medicine (ARRT, N)
  • American heart association BLS for healthcare provider
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent communication skills
