We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Mate Precision Technologies. As a Grade 40 Machinist on 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of conventional and CNC machines.

Essential Duties:

  • Sets up and works on machines of moderate complexity and difficulty.
  • Ability to work on non-standard products.
  • Inspects work using gaging and inspection devices to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Meets expectations for productivity and quality.
  • May train others or troubleshoot as needed.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A two-year degree from a technical college or 4 years of related experience is required.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience setting up machine tools is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking and standing.
  • Occasional bending and stooping.

The estimated salary for this position is $33.27/hour, depending on experience.
