">At Soliant, we're committed to providing exceptional support for students with special needs. As a Lead Behavioral Therapist in our K-12 Special Education program, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this mission.
About the Role
">This is a full-time position that requires a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). If you have experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting, that's a plus We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a real impact on our students' lives.
Responsibilities
">We need someone to conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students. This involves gathering data, analyzing it, and developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on your findings.
You'll also be responsible for providing training and support to staff members on the effective implementation of BIPs. This might involve workshops, one-on-one coaching, or other forms of professional development.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of BIPs is another key part of this job. You'll collect and analyze data on student behavior, making adjustments as needed to ensure our interventions are working effectively.
Collaboration is essential in this role. You'll work closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure our students receive consistent support across all environments.
Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings is another important responsibility. You'll share your expertise on behavior management, helping develop goals and objectives that meet each student's unique needs.
Finally, we're looking for someone who stays up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis. You'll share your knowledge with our team, helping us continuously improve our services.
Qualifications
">A valid BCBA certification from the BACB is a must-have for this role.
If you've worked with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting, that's a definite plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this job. You'll be working closely with our team, as well as with parents and community agencies.
We're looking for someone with a strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.
