Job Summary/Description:

This is a one-year, non-renewable full-time position for an English Instructor within the Natalie Zan Ryan Department of English and Modern Languages, designated for the academic year.

Typical Duties/Job Duties:

The instructor will be responsible for teaching the equivalent of 10 sections of introductory or developmental college writing throughout the academic year.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidates should possess experience in teaching college-level writing in both in-person and online formats. Experience with developmental and dual credit courses is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in English and prior experience in teaching college-level writing are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in college-level writing instruction is highly desirable. The department has a robust developmental writing program and dual credit offerings, so familiarity with diverse student audiences is advantageous.
