Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the Town of Flower Mound, TX. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and Respond to Calls: Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect crime, and respond to emergency calls and complaints.
  • Investigate Crimes: Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses and suspects.
  • Enforce Laws and Regulations: Enforce laws and regulations, issue citations and warnings, and make arrests as necessary.
  • Provide Community Service: Provide community service, including participating in community events, and engaging with the public to build trust and confidence.
  • Collaborate with Other Agencies: Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and community organizations to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Must be certified as a Peace Officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
  • Experience: Prior law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

Police Officers work in a variety of settings, including patrol cars, police stations, and community areas. They may be exposed to hazardous conditions, including physical danger, and must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
