We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative - Food Lion. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to the success of our store.
Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive shopping experience by maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness, providing fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, and being courteous and helpful to other associates. You will also understand production standards for processing of all product, follow technical manuals for processing of product, label placement, etc., and ensure proper sanitation of department, equipment, and food handling/preparation.
You will work closely with other associates to achieve sales goals, minimize shrink, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, wearing the Food Lion uniform with apron, complete with name badge, when on duty, and adhering to the Food Lion dress code. Additionally, you will understand and use company tools such as; average cost inventory system (ACIS) and ordering (CAO), successfully complete Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packet, and Training Aid courses, and perform all other duties as assigned.
