Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler I

Location: Somerset, NJ

Shift Information: Monday to Friday 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (shift differential pay)

Position Overview/Position Responsibilities:

As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and storing materials in a warehouse environment. You will operate powered material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet wrapping machines, to ensure accurate and timely shipments. You will also perform system transactions accurately and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate powered material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet wrapping machines
• Move, stack, and store materials in a warehouse environment
• Perform system transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse environment, including operating a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods
