Job Summary

As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily compounding activities in our cleanroom, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compounding Operations: Supervise and manage compounding activities in the cleanroom, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch record directions.
  • Quality Control: Conduct pre-and-post compounding operational checks, complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records, and investigate deviations and batch reviews prior to product release.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and assist technicians in preparing sterile admixtures, communicate issues to the Pharmacy lead, and enforce applicable personnel policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain real-time inventory of pharmacy finished products and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or (RPh) degree.
  • Licensure: Active Pharmacist License in the state of Arkansas (AR) and Connecticut (CT).

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Proven ability to supervise and manage teams, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately complete logs, records, and reports.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40+ pounds, and sit or stand for 4+ hours at a time as needed.
