About the Role

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests and other neurodiagnostic procedures to help diagnose and treat neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG tests and other neurodiagnostic procedures to help diagnose and treat neurological disorders
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering questions
  • Operate and maintain EEG equipment, including calibrating and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Documented training in evoked potentials, inter-operative monitoring, and nerve conduction studies
  • National Certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Preferred experience with PSG testing, scoring, and MSLTs and MWTs
