Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Admin to join our team at FedEx. As an Operations Admin, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hub and station facilities, including linehaul, quality assurance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support to various management and operational functions, including data entry, filing, and answering telephone calls.
  • Review, research, and enter data into various systems to support functional areas.
  • Compile data and provide regular reports to management for review and determination.
  • Serve as frontline customer service, receiving, solving, and escalating customer inquiries and issues.
  • Assist management with Business Control Self Assessment (BCSA) audit activity by retrieving data and/or files for review.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support timely delivery and mitigate loss and damage by performing address searches/corrections and ensuring packages are in good condition for the customer.
  • Prioritize workflow to maximize the number of packages that can be resolved and sent out for delivery in the same day.
  • Ensure all packages receive appropriate scan statuses and inspect and handle hazardous material damages as per policy.
  • Research missing packages to understand the root cause of scanning failures and compile information on disputed deliveries for management review.
  • Review and trend loss and damaged claims filed to identify improperly charged claims and bring to the attention of management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Four (4) years customer service, clerical, or related experience required; experience in dock operations environment or distribution center setting preferred.
  • General business skills, including typing, data entry, and review, and use of phone, copier, and fax.
  • Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
  • Customer service skills necessary to effectively and professionally respond to requests.
  • Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
