Job Summary

Edu1st is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators in implementing our unique VESS methodology, which promotes sustainable Cultures of Thinking in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators in implementing the VESS methodology
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the VESS framework
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in their professional development
  • Collaborate with the School Director and Assistant Director to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool
  • Document and record the developmental progress of children
Requirements
  • Minimum one-year experience in early childhood education
  • Speaks English fluently and has excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Has completed 45 hours of ELC minimum requirements or is in the process of completing them
  • CPR/First Aid Training certification
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Education is preferred but not required
