About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Operator to join our team at Designcraft Inc. Careers. As a CAD Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting our design and prototyping efforts, working closely with our team of experts to bring new products to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data manipulation to create 3D CAD models for visual representation and product development
  • Creation of CAD files for custom fixturing and work holding for our machinists
  • 2D drawing evaluation for tolerances and inspections
  • Working with Program Managers to plan fabrication and production
  • Graphic application and related Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop work
Requirements
  • CREO experience, or similar CAD program for solid and surface modeling
  • GD&T knowledge, understanding tolerances on 2D prints
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime, and have a "do what it takes" attitude
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies like milling, turning, 3D printing, etc.
  • Possess an analytical problem-solving mindset
  • Detail Oriented
  • Works well in a team of specialists
