Responsibilities
  • Conduct new-patient evaluations and exams to diagnose patients and evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that set goals and completion dates
  • Provide patients with physical therapy intervention techniques and exercises, and track progress
  • Educate patients on techniques for continuing care
  • Examine and evaluate new patients, and establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Establish a plan goal and time frame, and prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness, and educate patients on continuing care
Requirements
  • Accredited Physical Therapy program graduate
  • Current state Physical Therapy license
  • Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Passion for helping patients with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk issues
  • 1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program and current Physical Therapy license in LA
  • Ability to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in an outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
