Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Orleans County, VT and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits to clients in designated territories.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to assess client needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training.
  • Continuously assess and revise care plans, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
  • Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living.
  • Accurately document client care management and services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Current Vermont Physical Therapist license.
  • Minimum one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
