Youth Program Director

The YMCA of Greater New York seeks a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Beacon Director at the Rockaway YMCA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day administration and supervision of the Beacon Center, in partnership with the Beacon Director. This role requires a strong ability to relate to teens as a positive adult role model, develop and implement youth programs, and supervise staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred. At least 2-4 years of experience developing and implementing youth programs, staff training and development, and knowledge of youth/adolescent growth and development are required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in marketing and budgeting skills, ability to handle multitask activities, and CPR, First Aid, AED Training. Computer skills and experience in SACC Licensing Procedures are also necessary.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $62,400 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
