Job Description
As an Operational Technologist, you will play a vital role in the surgical team, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing operating rooms for procedures, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Assisting surgeons during procedures, handing them instruments, and providing support as needed.
- Collaborating with the anesthesia team to ensure smooth transitions between stages of surgery.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or military training equivalent.
- Previous surgical technologist experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Current certification as a surgical technologist (CST).
