Job Summary

Brigham & Women's Hospital (BWH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As a key member of our Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging Center, you will be responsible for performing cardiac stress tests in a clinically independent manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac stress tests, including standard exercise stress tests, exercise, pharmacological, and Cardio-Pulmonary stress tests, within the larger context of various imaging protocols.
  • Interpret and report ECG and other clinical data.
  • Assist with education and training of fellows, residents, and student interns.
  • Assist in ongoing research projects.
  • Assist in administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Exercise Physiology or equivalent experience.
  • ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist and/or ASCM Exercise Specialist preferred.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Testing experience in a clinical setting required; three years preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a patient care environment with some exposure to communicable disease and unpleasant odors. The incumbent will also be required to lift, transport, and position patients and/or equipment, which could result in musculoskeletal strain or injury.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Senior Clinical Exercise Physiologist will supervise technicians, students, and support staff assisting with the conduct of exercise and pharmacological testing.
