Polysomnographic Technician

Liberty Hospital is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technician to join our team. As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for administering therapy and treatments, performing sleep apnea studies and scoring, and performing EKGs. You will also administer gases, teach patients, document care, and adhere to patient care protocols. Additionally, you will support Neurology with EEGs, including periodic weekend call. Required experience includes recent experience in the sleep lab, performing patient hook-up, performing full sleep studies with and without CPAP/BiPAP, and scoring of sleep studies. A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification and BLS certification are also required. Preferred education includes a graduate degree from an accredited Respiratory school or a sleep lab/polysomnography program or neurodiagnostic training.
