Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Telemetry setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Alabama
  • 2 years of experience in Telemetry nursing
  • BLS certification
  • EMR experience required, with Meditech Expanse training provided
  • Electronic documentation preferred
Unit Information:

The unit is primarily Ortho/post-surgical and trauma, with a select part dedicated to oncology patients. Chemotherapy is sometimes administered by trained nurses who are certified.
