Job Title: Paralegal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and legal support to attorneys and staff.
  • Performs legal research, confers with outside agencies, and drafts documents.
  • Researches statutes, regulations, and laws affecting the City.
  • Prepares reports, correspondences, and court documents.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education and at least one year of experience in fields utilizing paralegal skills.
  • Notary Public certification or ability to attain within six months.
  • Certified Paralegal and/or Certified Legal Assistant certifications preferred.
