Material Handler II

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler II to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products on our premises.
Key Responsibilities- Physically handle materials used to construct components and finished products to ensure optimal movement.
- Lift, carry, and stack items as needed, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
- Record the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies, verifying the accuracy of work performed.
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, with some equipment requiring specialized training.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced material handlers.
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work will be performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically fit to perform the duties of the role.
