Spacecraft Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Manufacturing Technician III to join our team at Blue Origin. This role will involve assembling and testing hardware for spaceflight systems, working closely with a dynamic team of experts in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test mechanical, fluid, composites, and electrical flight hardware assemblies according to written procedures and engineering models.
- Operate various materials handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and aerial lifts.
- Setup and operate basic calibrated tools, such as torque wrenches and micrometers.
- Assist with drill operations, tight tolerance holes, rivet structures, and assemble small components.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of direct experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written work instructions.
- Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match. Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays. Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
