Material Handler

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Bettendorf, Iowa. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from the production department. This role requires the operation of forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, as well as daily pre-shift checks and battery changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be reliable, and possess excellent teamwork skills. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
- Perform daily pre-shift checks and battery changes on forklifts
- Inspect packaged products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs and construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons
- Verify weights and counts of products and complete paperwork accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
