Position Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Manager for our facility in Holly, MI. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products consistently meet customer specifications and adhere to industry standards. You will oversee a dedicated team of quality engineers, inspectors, and auditors, focusing on the development and implementation of robust testing protocols for our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer and engineering specifications to facilitate successful new product launches through adherence to APQP and PPAP processes.
  • Directly supervise the quality department, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and scheduling of team members.
  • Ensure that all purchased products, whether in-process or completed, undergo thorough inspection as per the established Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Identify and address quality training needs by educating and coaching employees.
  • Participate as a member of APQP project teams, contributing to the successful execution of projects.
  • Develop and implement best practices and lessons learned at the plant level.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance overall quality, efficiency, productivity, and minimize waste.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with actionable improvement plans.
  • Investigate customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Background in manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with a willingness to engage with team members on the production floor to collaboratively develop solutions and enhance processes.
